We proudly manufacture your orders out of Sydney with a committed local production team. As an Australian owned and operated company, we believe in Australian made products so we can bring your order right to your door a lot quicker than manufacturing overseas. Why wait when we can make it here!
We do also have the ability to source from overseas and usually take this route for large quantities especially for events and brand activations. We predominantly aim to keep our stubby holders Australian Made.
Unfortunately we do not offer samples. When your order is placed on the website (and if there are no artwork issues), we take it straight to mass production.
It's all about passing on the savings and value to you.
If we made less than 10 stubby holders per design, our costs in production and time would be so high that it would equate to an order of 10 units. This would make the price for 1-9 stubby holders very expensive! We wouldn't want to pass that cost on to you.
Stubbs & Mattee bar mat size is considered the standard in the market. It's made from high-quality rubber with a super absorbent felt top layer.
We have supplied many major bars and clubs for over a decade.
We offer only one size: 893mm (W) x 244mm (H).
This is the most standard size in the market.
Yes they are! We've spilt beer and wine before... so glad a bar mat was there to save the day!

We strongly advise to only use the bar mats on clean tables and countertops. Using the bar mats as floor mats is dangerous as it may slide and cause injury.
However, feel free to hang your favourite bar mat on the wall as a nice piece of decoration :)

Despite the transit stage being out of our control, as part of the dedicated service, our team will keep an eye out on every order dispatched to ensure you receive your order in a timely manner.
Please note: An Order Tracking email will be sent to you once we have dispatched your order. Sometimes this email may land in your junk mail folder.
Unfortunately we do not offer specialised gift wrapping services but we do pack orders nicely in our own custom satchels. Larger orders will be packed in cartons.

Please check your artwork before ordering, we do not take responsibility if you upload your artwork incorrectly. However, if we notice obvious mistakes, we will contact you to clarify before we proceed with production :)
Unfortunately we do not offer bundle deals. We try our very best to provide a competitive pricing structure in order to offer products with great discounts.
Orders are sent without invoices. This is our way of being more environmentally friendly. Invoices are emailed with your order confirmation. If you have trouble accessing it, please contact us and we will send it to you on your request.
From the time your order is placed, it should take between 3 - 7 business days (excluding shipping times) to process and make your order. Larger quantities would require more time. If you'd like to be sure, you can always contact us before you place your order and our team can advise you of an estimated processing time.
Please note that our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm. So for example, if you ordered anytime after 5:00pm on Friday, we will process the order on the following Monday. Or if you order after 5:00pm on Wednesday, we will process the order on Thursday.
Before placing your order online. Please contact us and provide details of your request. We'll assess your request and determine if we'll be able to achieve your deadline with timings and costs.
There will be NO REFUNDS if you made your order online and didn't leave sufficient time for your order to arrive. Orders made online will follow our standard processing, production and shipping times.
Please contact us immediately if any change is required. We may be able to stop the processing and allow you to provide us with the updated artwork details. If your order is already in production or finished, then you'll need to place a new order. There will be NO REFUNDS if we have not been notified of any changes before the production stage.
Please check your design preview carefully before placing your order.
Download the product templates in the Custom Builds page. These EPS files contain a layer with guides and a layer for your artwork. Place your artwork in the artwork layer and hide the guides layer when you save your EPS file.
Please ensure your file dimensions are set correctly for accurate layout coverage.

The colour mode for the file (including any images used in the file) should be set to CMYK for best colour results in the printed product.
If images are used in the EPS file, it should have a minimum resolution of 200 PPI.

IMPORTANT TIP:We strongly recommend saving your artwork in the correct dimensions and resolution as a JPG first, then placing only this JPG into our template before saving the EPS file (and hiding all guides). This would eliminate layering issues that may occur in the blending of colours and broken graphic elements in the artwork. These issues usually occur in complex artworks with a lot of objects and transparency effects.
When you use the Custom Builds feature to create your own product, there will be a red dotted line box on the preview. This is the basic guidelines to show you where the critical area of the artwork is. The critical area is where important parts of your design like text, phone numbers, logos should stay within.
The "Basic guidelines" is selected by default in the Artwork Guidance dropdown menu.
Select "Detailed guidelines" to view all the other guides to check if your artwork follows the guide lines and instructions shown.
It doesn't matter which option you select as these guides will not be printed on your product.
EPS files. Images in the EPS file should have a minimum resolution of 200 PPI.
If your artwork is in any other images formats, make sure the dimensions match our requirements, the colour mode is CMYK, the minimum resolution is 200 PPI and save it as an EPS file.
Depending on your requirements and design time involved, we can create your design at the cost of $120.00 initial design fee with one free art change included. For any art changes thereafter, an additional $95.00 art change fee will be charged per change.
- Example: We design a bar mat for you and three changes were requested during the process. You will be charged $120.00 (initial design fee) plus $190.00 (2 x $95.00 art change fee since the first art change is free). The total design fee will be $310.00
Complimentary design service is available for large events and brand activations. Please contact us to discuss your project and requirements.
Terms & Conditions: Design fees apply per product. Product pricing are charged separately. We will send you an invoice for the design fees which would need to be settled before we proceed to production. Stubbs & Mattee reserves the right to refuse any design request which is extremely time consuming to create or deemed to be highly offensive or infringe on trademarks and brands.

Our team can help check your artwork file so you can upload it successfully. If you'd like us to check your artwork file first, please send us the link to your file, or we can provide you with a Dropbox link where you can upload your file to.
Unfortunately we don’t.
Please note the difficulties of colour matching:
- Monitors vary and in turn, the colours displayed from one monitor will vary to another as well.
- Monitors display colour in RGB but printing uses CMYK colour mode.
- All printers are different, so if you have something that needs to be EXACTLY matched, our printer and ink will be different and this is a factor why it can’t be replicated.
What you see on your screen will always be slightly different to the physical printed product.

We do not offer an overnight service but please note that the way our procedure is structured, we work at the utmost efficiency to ensure you receive your order as soon as possible.
For a majority of orders, we send via StarTrack Express with Authority to Leave. This means you give the carrier authorisation to leave your order at the premises even if there isn't anyone there to receive it. This our default shipping method and allows us to send your order to you in the fastest time frame.
Australia Post may be used if Authority to Leave is not preferred and no one will be at the premises to receive the order. This method may have a lot of delays and is dependent on Australia Post's schedule.
